Anushka Shetty is an Indian actress, who predominantly appears in Telugu films. Her career began with the 2003 Kannada film Aishwarya. Anushka Shetty was born on September 23rd, 1981 in Mangalore, Karnataka to Dr Rajkumar and Uma Devi. Anushka Shetty's father is a famous Kannada actor himself. Her family's native language is Tulu but she has also acted in films which are completely shot outside of India including the 2008 British comedy film production of Jadoo which was filmed in Mauritius and England. Anushka's interest in acting began at the age of five when she started working with her father in the small project "Mangaluru Wali Thara" which was shot in her father's home town.
